For the joint-stock company “National Company “Kazakhstan Engineering” (Kazakhstan Engineering)” (hereinafter referred to as the Company), the Anti-Corruption Policy is one of the main elements of sustainable development. We are constantly working to prevent corruption offenses and misdemeanors, we are eradicating the conditions that can create such a precedent.

Our Company is committed to zero tolerance for corruption within its ranks, professionalism, transparency and honesty. We are against bribery and abuse of official position by our employees.

To solve these problems, since this year, the Company has created and fully operates the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service. Such structures exist in the head office, subsidiaries and affiliates. They are responsible for compliance with anti-corruption laws.

The Company regularly takes measures to prevent corruption; in 2022, internal regulatory documents were created and updated to regulate the activities of officials and employees of the Company on compliance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Combating Corruption” dated November 18, 2015.

Together with the employees of the Anti-Corruption Agency, the Compliance Services carry out the necessary explanatory activities in the team, as well as with the suppliers of the Group of Companies.

The following activities have been carried out this year:

• In May this year. – a seminar with representatives of the Compliance Service of Samruk Kazyna JSC, on the topic: “Implementation of Compliance in Kazakhstan, Compliance in Legislation, Association of Compliance and Business Ethics”;
• In June this year. – seminar with Compliance representatives of Airbus D&S, on the topic: “The work of Compliance services to prevent corruption and unethical behavior”;
• In August this year. – meeting with counterparties of subsidiaries and affiliates, on the topic: “Promotion of a culture of integrity, including anti-corruption standards, principles of ethics and Compliance”.
• In November this year. – anonymous survey on anti-corruption issues for the Company's Officials and employees and launched an information board (memo) on the prohibition of gifts for the Company's Officials and employees. 

The following documents have been adopted and updated:

• Anti-Corruption Policy;
• Anti-Corruption Action Plan;
• Regulations on the Compliance Service;
• Anti-corruption standards of JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Engineering";
• Anti-Corruption Instruction;
• Policy for identifying and resolving conflicts of interest in JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Engineering".

For a complete and objective assessment of the current situation, our Company provides interested authorities with comprehensive assistance and provides unhindered access to all requested materials. There are constant consultations and exchange of information with law enforcement agencies and the National Security Committee.

Some former employees of the company's group are being investigated, but we believe it is advisable to refrain from unfounded conclusions and not violate the presumption of innocence until the end of the investigation and sentencing by the judiciary.
