A subsidiary of NC Kazakhstan Engineering, “Tynys” factory, will produce electric wheelchairs for people with disabilities.

In order to implement the project, a corresponding memorandum was signed with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan. By order of this department, next year it is planned to supply 1374 strollers for children and adults with disabilities.

The total weight will be up to 70 kg, range - 15 km, load capacity up to 140 kg. This is the own development of the designers of the “Tynys” factory. Currently, the first batch of products tested, they received positive reviews.

The production capacity of the plant is 2700 units. in year. The amount of investment is 173.3 million tenge.

It should be noted that due to the lack of wheelchair manufacturers in Kazakhstan, they were imported from Russia, China and European countries.

This project aims to increase the efficiency of meeting the needs of people with disabilities with special means of transportation.

In addition, it will be possible to expand the range and increase the share of civilian production in the volume of the military-industrial complex.

Recall that the main products manufactured at the “Tynys” factory are component parts for aircraft, personal protective equipment for power structures of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It also produces civilian products for the oil and gas sector, the railway industry, etc.
