On March 17, 2024, Darmarka was held in Astana. This is a free swap fair where anyone can donate their unwanted items. In addition to exchanging things, swap is also an eco-initiative that supports conscious consumption and care for the environment. And also a reminder that you shouldn’t thoughtlessly get rid of unnecessary but good things: it’s better to give them to those who will need them. In addition to clothing, it was possible to donate recyclable materials at the fair: bottles, plastic, paper, cans, bags and more.

Darmarka was also visited by employees of NC Kazakhstan Engineering JSC, where they handed over empty glass bottles and took part in a master class on separate waste collection.

NC Kazakhstan Engineering JSC actively supports such events and encourages everyone to participate in fairs dedicated to environmental protection and conscious consumption.
