The Ministry of defense and aerospace industry (MDAI RK) held a regular meeting of the Public Council with the participation of the Minister, Mr. Beybut Atamkulov.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Public Council of the Republic of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Aimbetov made a report on the results of the Council for the first half of 2018.

In addition, the issue of organization of activities and approval of new members of the Public Council was put on the agenda of the event.

Mr. Mukhtar Altynbaev, People's Hero, General of the Army, ex-Minister of defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Central Council of Veterans of the Armed Forces, the Republican Public Association, Mr.  Zhandarbek Kakishev, ex-General Director of Shelf, the plant for the production of aviation and aerospace equipment, Mr. Zhandos Abishev, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of KazWeld, the Kazakhstan Welding Association, Vladimir Bobrov, the Independent Director of Kazakhstan engineering National Company JSC were elected as members of the Public Council.

The Public Council of MDAI RK attracts active representatives of civil society to its work. It includes representatives of the defense industry, space sphere and information security. 

Thanks to the new members of the Council, the work of this body will receive a new impetus and joint efforts will continue to work to improve the efficiency of sectoral activities of MDAI RK.
