The V International Exhibition of Arms and Military-Technical Property "KADEX - 2018" will take place on the territory of the military sector of the Astana International Airport from May 23 to 26, 2018.

For the first time, the organizer of the Exhibition "KADEX" is the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

It will be attended by domestic and foreign enterprises of the military-industrial complex and the space industry, leading design bureaus and research institutes in the field of information security.

In the year of the 20th anniversary of the capital of Kazakhstan - the city of Astana, the jubilee Exhibition "KADEX" will be held in an updated format.

In addition to the demonstration of weapons samples, the main emphasis will also be placed on the business part of the program. As part of the scientific and business program, it is planned to hold plenary and breakout sessions, conferences, "round tables", which will allow specialists from all countries to exchange views on topical issues of defense and security, the development of world cosmonautics, and also to discuss the problems of ensuring cybersecurity at the present stage.

A distinctive innovation of the Exhibition will be the holding of the International Forum "Space Days in Kazakhstan", as one of the components of the Exhibition "KADEX - 2018". For the first time, a separate pavilion dedicated to the achievements of national and world cosmonautics will be presented at the Exhibition.

The business program of the Exhibition will include the conferences "Cyber ​​and Digital Security" and "Advanced Def Tech". These events will become one of the central dialogue platforms of the Exhibition, where specialists and experts from around the world will discuss topical issues of the defense industry, military-technical cooperation, space activities and information security.

On the first day of the Exhibition, there will be a solemn ceremony of cancellation of the postage stamp dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the creation of Kazkosmos with a special postmark on the first day envelope with the emblem "KADEX - 2018". Anyone can purchase a commemorative stamp and an envelope with a postmark on the territory of the Exhibition.

During the exhibition, the main focus is on the practical component. In addition to official events and a business program, it is planned to sign a number of documents - memorandums and agreements in the field of military-technical cooperation, space activities and cybersecurity with a number of organizations and companies from near and far abroad.

The exhibition "KADEX - 2018" will become a platform for a constructive dialogue between business representatives, developers and manufacturers of military products, specialists from relevant ministries and departments of various countries, regardless of interstate relations and foreign policy views.

In addition, the exhibition "KADEX - 2018" will be open to the public on May 25-26 this year for the general public.
