September 20, 2017 in Astana, V anniversary forum of machine builders of Kazakhstan started: «New industrialization of Kazakhstan: high-tech engineering».

Within the framework of the Forum, the national company «Kazakhstan engineering», which is in the trust management of the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry, held a section branch meeting on defense mechanical engineering.

The military attaches accredited in Kazakhstan, representatives of law enforcement agencies and also heads of the domestic and foreign engineering companies participated in a section meeting. 

Orman Nurbayev, Chairman of the Board of JSC «NC «Kazakhstan engineering», noted in his speech that the national company, being an engineering holding, executes the orders of the Ministry of Defense and law enforcement agencies, and also meets the needs of national companies and large enterprises in engineering production.

Within the framework of tasks to develop the domestic engineering sector, the national company «Kazakhstan engineering» implemented a number of investment projects. A center for the production of electronic optical devices, plants for the assembly and maintenance of  helicopters EC145, for the production of armored wheeled vehicles, the construction of ships with a displacement of up to 600 tons, the production of printed circuit boards of grade 5 accuracy were mastered. 

The production of drilling rigs, wagons, trucks, trailers, tactical and operational radio stations, repair and modernization of automotive, aviation and special equipment were adjusted. 

Enterprises of JSC «NC «Kazakhstan engineering» conduct research and design work on the development and implementation of new types of weapons and military equipment. 

With large Russian companies and holdings, agreements were concluded in accordance with which export deliveries of oil and gas and power equipment are carried out. 
Today, the enterprises of JSC «NC «Kazakhstan engineering» are ready to actively expand the range of manufactured both military and civil production, to increase Kazakhstan content. 

The participants of the section considered the export opportunities of the enterprises of the defense-industrial complex of Kazakhstan, and also discussed the application of modern technologies in the machine-building industry.
