Kazakhstan plant for production of defense electro-optical products (LLP "KAE") and Turkish company ASELSAN agreed on technology transfer for the production of professional radio communications of APC025 Standard.
Appropriate agreement was signed in Astana on 10 November 2016. The document was signed from Kazakh side by CEO of "KAE" Tarık Ziya Kaboglu, from Turkish side – by Vice-President of ASELSAN Yavuz Bayiz.
The agreement was signed in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of JSC «NC «Kazakhstan Engineering» Yerlan Idrissov who noted the special relevance of the proposed project in view of today's requirements to the level of information security.
"It is gratifying to emphasize that our agreement was signed in the period of celebrating of the 25th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This is a significant event for the local enterprise "KAE" which will contribute to the production diversification and development of Kazakhstan content,"- highlighted Yerlan Idrissov.
Under the agreement in Kazakhstan will be launched production of various models of radio stations with localization level from SKD assembly to high-technology production associated with the assembly of the electronic circuit boards.
This product will provide an efficient and secure communication for special government authorities and the Armed Forces of the Republic.
The first issue of radio stations is planned for the first quarter 2017.
LLP "KAE" is a structural division of a subsidiary of JSC «NC «Kazakhstan Engineering» with a share of 50% whilst 49% belong to ASELSAN and 1% belongs to Turkish Republic Under secretariat for Defense Industries.
