JSC "ZIKSTO", which is part of JSC "NC" Kazakhstan Engineering ", will present at the IV International Exhibition of Arms and Military-Technical Property" KADEX-2016 "samples of naval weapons, in particular, bottom mines.

Mine MDM-1 is a classic mine, its location provides stealth for detection equipment, which are equipped with underwater mine vehicles.

MDM-2 belongs to the class of bottom mines equipped with a three-channel proximity fuse and a set of safety and functional devices that ensure the implementation of programs of urgency, frequency and elimination, as well as the safety of maintenance and operation of the mine.

MDM-1 and MDM-2 are designed to destroy surface ships of all types and submarines.

The principle of operation of the mine, in combination with the established programs of urgency and multiplicity, provides protection against natural interference.

The plant is currently producing these products under a contract with the Russian Federation.

Let us recall that the ZIKSTO plant is one of the largest machine-building enterprises in Northern Kazakhstan. The main direction of its activity is the production and repair of freight cars, as well as the development and manufacture of military weapons for state power structures and the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
