The body armor, model Ulan-01, is a product designed for individual protection of military personnel from being hit by small arms, knives, and fragments, while maintaining complete mobility. The bulletproof vest is adapted for wearing soft ballistic inserts with protection classes Br1, C2 and ballistic armor panels with protection classes Br2 (back) and Br2 (chest) according to GOST R 50744-95.

The design of the body armor is modular, ergonomic, taking into account the anatomical features, the design of the "shirt" type. It allows operation in the performance of combat missions without a significant reduction in mobility and maneuverability, convenient in dressing, wearing and removing, firing from various positions, performing hand-to-hand combat techniques.
