The project "Kazakhstan Cartridge Plant" is being implemented by "Steel Manufacturing" LLP. This is a modern, high-tech enterprise that meets international standards for the production of small arms ammunition, which is part of the JSC "National Company" Kazakhstan Engineering ".

“This project, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development, will allow us to manufacture products according to the standards used in Kazakhstan and the CSTO countries, and thereby eliminate Kazakhstan's dependence on the import of ammunition of this nomenclature. The launch of the plant will fully cover the need for patrons of all power departments of Kazakhstan, and also open up a new export potential. It is symbolic that the launch was made on the eve of the holiday - Defender of the Fatherland Day. There are plans to re-equip the enterprise in order to expand the production of cartridges according to NATO standards, which will expand the geography of supplies. In addition, the project gives us the opportunity to form domestic qualified personnel and create new jobs ”, - stressed the Chairman of the Board of JSC“ NC “Kazakhstan Engineering” Kuanysh Bishimov.

Currently, work is underway to develop and approve national standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the export of these products.
