A meeting was held with representatives of China National Electronics Import & Export Corporation at the office of NC Kazakhstan Engineering JSC. Previously, Zhao Bo, General Director of the Eurasia Department of ELINC China Co., Ltd, together with representatives of China National Electronics Import & Export Corporation (CEIEC) 26 -October 27 of the current year visited JSC "Plant named after S.M. Kirov" (hereinafter - JSC "ZIK").

At the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of cooperation on a number of projects in the IT industry on the basis of ZIK JSC. In particular, the Chinese side is interested in implementing a project for the production of Data Processing Centers (DPC), as well as server and network equipment. Negotiations are underway to transfer design documentation to increase the share of localization in joint projects.

It should be noted that following the meeting on October 20 this year. Commission under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the implementation of digitalization, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mamin A.U. instructed to ensure the timeliness and quality of the implementation of all projects for the digitalization of the economy, training and development of the IT industry. ZIK JSC since June 2020 a project was launched to assemble computer equipment with a high degree of localization (personal computers ZIK PC-01, ZIK PC-02, tablets, portable ultrabooks ZIK S-133, semi-rugged laptop).
