Today the Chairman of the Board of “NC “Kazakhstan Engineering” JSC Kuanysh Bishimov and the Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Aukenov, signed an Agreement on the implementation of the state task “Wheelchairs with electric drives provision for disabled".

The wheelchairs will be manufactured for the first time in Kazakhstan on the basis of “Tynys” JSC, a subsidiary of “Kazakhstan Engineering”. Previously, they were imported from Russia, China and European countries.

This is a proprietary design of the plant’s designers and meets modern requirements. Total weight up to 70 kg, range - 15 km, load capacity up to 140 kg. For the current year, it is planned to supply 1379 wheelchairs for children and adults.

The first batch of products has already been tested by users and received positive feedback.

This project aims to increase the efficiency of meeting the needs of people with disabilities with special means of transportation.

In addition, it will be possible to expand the range and increase the share of civilian production in the volume of the military-industrial complex.

Recall that the main products manufactured at the “Tynys” plant are components for aircraft, personal protective equipment for power structures of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It also produces civilian products for the oil and gas sector, the railway industry, etc.
