During a business trip to Pavlodar and East Kazakhstan regions, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Mr. Askar Mamin inspected the progress of the reconstruction of the Center-East road and was informed of the implementation of industrial projects of the regions.
The First Deputy Prime Minister, having driven on the Astana-Pavlodar highway, got acquainted with the construction of the Center-East road and, having heard reports of the management of KazAvtoZhol NC JSC and contractors, held a meeting on the development of the Republican road network.
The total length of Republican roads in three regions - Akmola, Pavlodar and East Kazakhstan is 7 345 km. 404 km on the Center-East road is completed, 501 km of road is under repair and reconstruction. All works are carried as scheduled.
As part of the trip, Mr. Askar Mamin familiarized himself with the state of road service facilities. Currently, 530 road service facilities of category A, B, C, D are located along the Republican roads of Akmola, Pavlodar and East Kazakhstan regions, until the end of 2018, 16 more facilities will be put into operation.
The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited Kazway modular pavilion located on 28 km bypassing Astana. The pavilion is equipped with a modern HVAC, video surveillance system, wireless wi-fi, vacuum toilet and other advanced technologies to ensure a comfortable and reliable stay in the facility. By the end of this year, it is planned to open 12 modular pavilions on the Astana-Shchuchinsk Astana-Temirtau, Almaty-Kapshagay roads, Borov ring (entrance to Borovoye), bypassing Astana.
As a result of the inspection, Mr. Mamin instructed KazAvtoZhol NC JSC to open traffic on 905 km of the Center-East road, set the task to complete the project as a whole in 2019.
The First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan visited Bozshakol mining and processing plant and reviewed the process of production of copper concentrate and the development of mining.
Prommashkomplekt showed the casting of wheelsets, production of turnouts, crossings and repair kits for the rail industry. The First Deputy Prime Minister also became familiar with the activities of a number of facilities on Pavlodar special economic zone.
At Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant, Mr. Mamin was reported on the modernization of the enterprise, which provided an increase in the productivity of crude oil, improving the quality of motor fuels to meet the requirements of the K-4 standards for gasoline, K-5 for diesel fuel. The Project allowed to introduce energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies, management automation, rational use of natural resources and increase the efficiency of environmental measures.

In East Kazakhstan region, the First Deputy Prime Minister got acquainted with the work of defense and civil enterprises - Semey engineering JSC and Semipalatinsk machine-building plant.
During the visit to Bakyrchik mining enterprise LLP, Mr. Mamin was reported on the launch of a new processing ore facility in 2018.
In Semey, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan was informed of the progress of expansion and reconstruction of RK-1, where commissioning works on modernization of process equipment of heat sources and main heat supply networks are carried out.
Mr. Mamin visited a number of social facilities, including a new Karagayly micro-district, which was built under the Nurly Zher program and a kindergarten for 320 children.
