The Minister of defense and aerospace industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Beibut Atamkulov visited Uralsk where he was informed of the work of defense industry enterprises of West Kazakhstan region engaged in the development and manufacture of military products.

The first facility to be visited was West Kazakhstan machine-building company JSC (ZKMK JSC).

ZKMK JSC is a high-tech modern production site, which includes different kinds of production. The plant provides a full cycle of order execution, including design of the equipment, its production, delivery, installation and commissioning.

Further, the delegation visited Zenit Ural Plant of Kazakhstan engineering National Company of the Ministry of defense and aerospace industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan where it familiarized itself with the activities of the ship production shop and a range of products.

Zenit Ural Plant is a part of the structure of domestic defense industry enterprises. The company manufactures boats and ships, carries out their maintenance, repair and modernization.

At the end of the business trip, Mr. Atamkulov together with Akim of the region, Mr. Kulginov and representatives of the state bodies held a meeting with the leadership of the defense industry enterprises of West Kazakhstan region.
