On introduction of competitive selection of staff in the implementation of the transformation program

JSC "NC" Kazakhstan Engineering "has successfully implemented a system of open and competitive selection of staff in the implementation of the transformation program. Implementation allows to attract the most qualified professionals, as well as to demonstrate the openness of the personnel management system.

Terms of competitive selection consists of several stages. In particular, the search for qualified specialists from among the employees of the company, working with a single talent pool of the company and the group of "Samruk-Kazyna", receiving resumes, conduct of testing of professional knowledge and interviews, as well as the hiring of a candidate successfully passed the selection.

So, in 2015 JSC "NC" Kazakhstan Engineering "held competitions to four vacant administrative positions. Participation in them took 115 candidates (29 people per site), including

25 (21%) - not recognized by the relevant qualification requirements. The results of the competitions are filled with three of the four vacant posts.

In the first half of the year 2016 six tenders in which 145 applicants for occupation of vacant managerial positions participated have taken place (24 persons into place). At the same time 110 candidates (76%) are acknowledged not conforming to qualification requirements. As a result of carrying out competitive procedures five positions from six are filled. One winner of tender has refused a position subsequently.

In the current year work on implementation of system of open competitive selection in the affiliated organizations is begun.
