Kazakhstan Engineering National Company JSC held a large cultural and educational event — participation in the nationwide project “Ulttyq Dictation”, aimed at promoting the state language and strengthening national identity.
“Ulttyq Dictation” is a program that has become an important part of public life in Kazakhstan. It brings together thousands of participants across the country, from school students to representatives of government agencies and companies. Its main purpose is not only to assess the literacy level of the population, but also to remind about the significance of the Kazakh language as the foundation of national culture, history, and the spiritual unity of the people.
The event is intended to show that language proficiency is not just a skill, but also a sign of respect for one’s roots and history. Participation in “Ulttyq Dictation” is especially important for enterprises of the defense industry. In the Year of Working Professions, it is particularly symbolic that language development is directly linked to the professional and personal growth of each employee. Clear, cultured, and conscious speech is an integral part of professional conduct and business communication — especially in strategically important industries, where accuracy, responsibility, and respect for national values are essential.
“Competent command of the state language reflects culture and respect for one’s country. Such initiatives cultivate responsible attitudes toward the native word and contribute to strengthening national values,” noted Margulan Kuzekbayev, Head of the Administrative Services Department of Kazakhstan Engineering.
The texts were prepared in accordance with the employees’ level of Kazakh language proficiency. The team enthusiastically took part in the dictation, demonstrating a high level of interest and responsibility. For many, this became an opportunity not only to evaluate their knowledge, but also to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
The results of the project showed that a spirit of respect for cultural traditions and commitment to self-development prevails within Kazakhstan Engineering.
