JSC NC "Kazakhstan Engineering" strengthens international partnership in the field of defense industry development

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between NC Kazakhstan Engineering JSC and the Turkish holding ASFAT Inc.

The prerequisites for cooperation were laid at the beginning of this year: in January of this year, the Minister of National Defense of Turkey Hulusi Akar paid a working visit to Nur-Sultan, and in February - his Deputy Muhsin Dere. During a series of meetings, representatives of the Turkish military-industrial complex visited a number of enterprises of NC Kazakhstan Engineering JSC.

During a return visit to Turkey, Adilbek Sarsembaev, Chairman of the Board of JSC “NC “Kazakhstan Engineering” and Esad Akgyun, Chairman of the Board of ASFAT, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two state defense industrial holdings, which will allow implementing projects for the implementation of joint production.

ASFAT Inc. is a Turkish state holding company established under the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Turkey. The holding uses more than 30 years of experience in the production, modernization, repair, maintenance and maintenance of 27 military factories and 3 naval shipyards with qualified and experienced personnel. ASFAT Inc. plays a leading role in facilitating the export of defense industry products. ASFAT Inc. proposes and provides innovative solutions to friendly and allied countries in the areas of design, production, maintenance, support and training with a partnership approach to solutions, aiming to launch the life cycle management fundamentals with synergistic effects created by public-private partnerships.

The development of partnership with the Turkish defense industry and with the ASFAT Holding is one of the priority areas of cooperation of JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Engineering". During the business trip to the Republic of Turkey, a number of meetings were held with the BAYKAR MAKINA and ASELSAN defense companies, and MİGYEM, MAAT, MKEK Çelikhane factories were also visited.
