Dear ladies and gentlemen, dear colleagues!

We invite You to take part in the international forum "Kazakhstan's way to space: realities and prospects-2017", dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the launch of The first artificial earth satellite.

"About the forum"

The purpose of the international forum is to discuss and exchange experience in using the results of space activities to solve the problems of economic sectors.

The annual seminar "days of space in Kazakhstan", which started four years ago, will be transformed into an international forum in 2017 with the expansion of the boundaries of its participants and consideration of large-scale tasks.

The international forum will consider the results of space activities over the past decade, the prospects for the development of the space industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The international forum will contribute to the wide popularization of achievements of domestic and world space, development of investment attractiveness of the space projects of Kazakhstan,  to attract potential users (state bodies and organizations, private organizations, financial institutions, etc.) services provide the space enterprises of the RK.

The international forum was organized by enterprises of the Aerospace Committee of the Ministry of aerospace and defense industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

It should be noted that this year more than 400 representatives of space agencies and government agencies, specialists from leading global companies in satellite systems and space technologies, and well-known scientists are expected to participate in the international space forum.

As part of this event, the conference "Fifth Fesenkov readings on the topic of: "Space science in Kazakhstan: state and prospects", on the margins of which scientific and practical seminars will be held on the development of methods for monitoring and research of astrophysical objects of far and near space on the basis of modern information technologies; solar-terrestrial physics and geodynamics; instruments and hardware and software of space technology and technologies; topical issues of aerospace materials science in Kazakhstan; research of the Earth using methods of space monitoring and geoinformation technologies.

The MAIN THEMATIC AREAS OF the INTERNATIONAL FORUM will be:

Section 1. Prospects for the development of space technologies and attracting investment in space activities of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Section 2. Experience in using remote sensing and SVSN technologies in the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Section 3. Communications and telecommunications

Section 4. Production of space equipment

Section 5. Improving the environmental safety of the Baikonur cosmodrome

Section 6. Experience of foreign countries in creating a national spatial data infrastructure

In the framework of the conference " Fifth Fesenkov readings on the topic: "Space science in Kazakhstan: status and prospects " reports will be presented in the following subsections:

1) Current issues of aerospace materials science in Kazakhstan;

2) research of the Earth using methods of space monitoring and geoinformation technologies;

3) solar-terrestrial physics and geodynamics;

4) instruments and hardware and software of space technology;

5) development of methods for monitoring and research of astrophysical objects of far and near space based on modern information technologies.
